Carl Sonnen is the Founder and MD for Invictus Professional Training, a friendly instructor with 25+ years of experience teaching Martial Arts/ Self Defence.
In addition to teaching Conflict Management; PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression); assault avoidance for customer facing organisations; self defence, he also instructs a range of entry level Private Security training; and Security Team/ Career development training such as Front of Stage Barrier (Pit), IRT (incident response team), UDT (Unarmed Defensive Techniques), advance physical intervention and more.
He was a voluntary instructor for Hampshire Constabulary, teaching conflict management, physical intervention and personal safety.
KT Jones is the Chief Operating Officer for Invictus Professional Training, an experienced and exuberant instructor with 19+ years of experience, making even the most mundane subject fun to learn.
In addition to teaching Conflict Management; PMVA; assault avoidance for customer facing organisations; she also instructs PIT (front of stage barrier training) and range of compulsory training for all industries such as first aid, fire safety and evacuation chair.
KT has been volunteering with Dorset & Wilts Fire and Rescue Service as a cadet instructor for 8 years.
Training Director for Invictus Professional Training, is friendly and down to earth, with more years teaching experience than he would care for us to print, his vast array of frontline experience in the Mental Health; Care; Enforcement; and Security sectors to add context to the subjects he delivers.
He presently also works with schools that are struggling to connect with students that have challenging behaviour/ upbringing.

Instructor Frankie has a former military background of 14 years where he specialised in delivering training and the use of armoured vehicles, both tracked and wheeled. He has used his skills and knowledge extensively on various major training exercises, to operational demands.
Frankie now works as a consultant in the security sector designing and delivering bespoke training on the use of armoured vehicles. His latest project was delivering bespoke training to Police Force’s in the Middle East, on the safe use and operation of armoured personnel vehicles. He is also an advanced driver and is trained in driving with the use of blue lights and sirens in emergency conditions and at speed.
Frankie delivers a range of First Aid Courses up to First Responder level, he also teaches bespoke 4×4 off road, safe and effective training.
Instructor Nick is an experienced negotiator including ten years at Nike with four years as Sports Marketing Manager. He has worked in Football, Rugby and Tennis with a major role in developing the relationship between Arsenal Football Club and the Nike brand. Having worked in Sports Management for over 15 years he continues to run his own Management business focusing on professional rugby union players.
Nick also has seven years’ experience working with artists, bands and their management in a back stage role with a successful crewing company. He has extensive knowledge of the rules, written or otherwise, that apply to the backstage dressing room area. Through his position with a well-known security company, he has worked a number of roles at festival main stages and numerous meet and greets. He has the experience and stories relating to the behaviours required of those wishing to work in this important area.
